Top 10 Hotels in Valencia
This curated list of the best hotels in Valencia is meant to give you different options. The best hotel for a group of friends might not be the same as one for a couple on their honeymoon.
So each of these hotels will have an explanation on why I include them as one of the top lodging options. And if you want more support about a specific kind of hotel, then I suggest looking into some of these articles:
Casual Vintage
Best for: Quality–Price Ratio & the views
I’ll be honest – Casual Vintage is the top hotel on my list for a special reason.
It’s actually where my parents stayed when they came for my wedding!
(Hence the photo)
But besides the personal bias – the hotel itself is quite nice. The rooms are spacious and if you get one with a street view, you’ll get an unbeatable view of the Plaça de l’Ajuntament. All the rooms have a quirky, vibrant style that make for a fun stay.
I also think the hotel is a great deal for the price. The centric location is unbeatable and the rooms are clean. So even though it’s not a luxury hotel – you won’t miss out on anything.
So for the average traveler, this is the best hotel in Valencia.
Only You Hotel
Best for: 5-Star Experiences
One street away from the City Hall Square, you’ll find the Only You Hotel. This is a relatively new 5-star hotel with a rooftop bar!
The outside is stunning, and the interior has a quaint, cozy decoration that reminds you of a 50s bar. The restaurant often caters to large events – and they even have their own Atelier Flowershop.
With in-suite spa options, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a more elegant experience while still being in the heart of the city.
And if you’re driving into the city – they do offer parking (which is a huge plus in the Ciutat Vella).
Las Arenas Balneario
Best for: Travelers looking for a beach vacation
Las Arenas Balneario is one of the most famous Valencia hotels. This enormous seaside hotel offers incredible views — inside and out.
The Greek-Style façade and columns is an impressive sight, with the interior being just as stunning.
This hotel is the best option for anyone who wants a relaxing beach holiday. Not only are you right next to the boardwalk, but you’ll also get access to their famous spa circuit. So if you want to relax, it’s one of the top-rated spas in Valencia.
I’ve not yet gotten the chance to stay at Las Arenas – but I have been through their spa circuit. I can highly recommend it to any traveler looking to unwind.
Yours Boutique Hotel Russafa (Adults Only)
Best for: Adults who want nightlife
Yours Boutique Hotel is one of the best hotels in Russafa. This adults-only hotel is perfect for anyone looking to experience the Valencia nightlife and get away from children, responsibilities, and whatever they’re leaving back home.
The interior is a bright, calming oasis in the heart of Russafa. They’ve transformed a historic building into multiple hotel rooms with a charming apartment-style vibe.
It’s a sophisticated, relaxing, and stress-free hotel that even has its own spa pool.
So if you want to stay in Russafa, enjoy the nightlife, and have a lovely, stress-free accommodation waiting for you – then this is the best hotel in Valencia for you.
Melia Plaza
Best for: People looking for a classic vibes and central location
Melia Plaza is another hotel that’s right in the City Hall Square – so an unbeatable location. This is a 4-star hotel with a clean, classic, and reliable vibe to it.
The rooms are simple, but they also offer an impressive rooftop terrace to enjoy the sun and the views. This terrace is the hidden gem of Melia Plaza, as you’ll get access to a glass-paneled gym, a dry sauna, and a solarium.
Everything you need to enjoy that Mediterranean sun without needing to head down to the beach!
This is a great option for travelers with a medium–high travel budget.
Venecia Plaza Centro
I’m adding a secret addition to this list with Venecia Plaza Centro.
To be fair – this hotel is pretty similar to Melia Plaza. The location is similar, as well as the quality and level of the accommodations.
So if Melia Plaza is all booked during your holiday, try your luck here. It’s another one of the best Valencia hotels!
The Westin
Best for: 5-star hotel-goers right outside the center
Want a world-class hotel without being in the busiest part of the city? Then you’ll want to look at The Westin.
The resort hotel has a 70s-style decoration that brings a warm, cozy vibe. With spacious rooms, many with their own outdoor jacuzzis – it’s a great way to have your own little piece of paradise in Valencia.
The hotel often hosts weddings thanks to its enormous private garden and famous restaurant. Which means this is definitely a sought-after destination!
If you’re coming to Valencia for Les Falles – this is a great spot to pick as you’ll be right outside the chaos of it all when you want to relax!
Caro Hotel
Best for: History lovers
This is honestly one of my favorite hotels in Valencia. Caro Hotel is from an old palace that has been restored in a way that’s modern – but still appreciates its history and unique style. It used to belong to the Marqués de Caro in the 19th century, but it’s been built overtop structures from a millennia ago!
Not to mention the fact that it hosts a Michelin-star restaurant that is truly unlike anything else in the city. This is truly one of those hotels that are worth splurging on! I’m personally obsessed with the painted vaulted ceilings that you can see in one of the rooms.
It’s nestled in a tiny street in the city center, so you get easy access to the rest of the city.
If you’re a history nerd, then this is the place to stay.
SH Valencia Palace
Best for: People who want to be close to the City of Arts and Sciences
I think this hotel has a perfect location for people who want to spend a lot of time at the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.
It’s located about halfway between the CAC and downtown Valencia. This is one of the best Valencia hotels in terms of location, especially if you don’t want to be right in the center.
Despite the fact that it’s a relatively large hotel with a ton of amenities – it’s also fairly affordable! So you don’t need a 5-star budget to get great quality.
They also have a very highly-rated breakfast!
You&CO Botànic
Best for: People who want to be right outside the center
You&CO Botànic is in one of the best neighborhoods in Valencia.
i.e. Mine!
It’s less than 2 minutes away from the Torres de Quart, while also being just 6 minutes away from the Àngel Guimerà metro station. This means you can get from the airport to the hotel in about 30 minutes.
This boutique hotel was recently built, and it’s one of the best hotels in terms of price point. I’m always a big fan of staying right outside the city center, as you get a better deal in exchange for walking 5 minutes!
Side note – the neighborhood is one of the most LGBT-friendly in the city!
Petit Palace Russafa
Best for: Staying in Russafa
Petit Palace is one of the best hotels in Valencia thanks to its location, terrace rooms, and great breakfast.
This is one of the all-around best hotels. They have a great price point, making it a really good deal for the average traveler. So if you want to make the most of the trendy side of town – here’s where you should stay.
Just remember – if you’re staying in Valencia for Les Falles – then Russafa is only a good idea if you want to enjoy the nightlife! Otherwise, choose an area outside of Russafa, since a lot of the biggest festivities happen here!
