Here are the best beach hotels in Valencia so you can enjoy your sunny Mediterranean holiday. Walk down the nearly endless boardwalk and explore the quaint beach town turned neighborhood in El Cabanyal. Just make sure to book your hotel early because these accommodations sell out quick!
The Beach in Valencia
Valencia actually has a couple of beaches, all of which are known for their sprawling sands and lively beach walk. You’ll see the following beaches when planning your trip:
- El Cabanyal
- La Malva-rosa
- La Patacona
Most of the accommodations are in El Cabanyal. And then Malva-rosa and La Patacona have lots of restaurants and bars. El Cabanyal is also the closest area to the port. In fact, this Valencian neighborhood used to be its own town until it was annexed!
So for the most of the hotels on this list are going to be in the Cabanyal area. Although they’re all within a 10–15 minute walk from each other (in a straight line). So no matter which area you choose – they’re all about the same in terms of convenience.

The Best Valencia Beach Hotels
If you’re coming to the Mediterranean, obviously you want to enjoy your time in the sun! And with several months of warm beach weather, you’ll be able to get that in Valencia.
Which, if you’re wondering about the weather — check out this guide on when to visit Valencia.
And now let’s look at the best hotels near the beach in Valencia, Spain.
Quick note: I’m only going to be encouraging people to stay at hotels and hostels. I do NOT recommend people staying at Airbnbs. Short-term rentals like Airbnb are causing a lot of issues with the local economy and housing crisis. Plus it’s possible that more anti-tourism laws regarding Airbnbs will pop up within the next few years — so I recommend traveling only at hotels, as it’s more sustainable for everyone.
Las Arenas Balneario Resort
Best For: Luxury travel
Las Arenas is a luxurious option right on the beachfront. For most people, this is going to be the number one beachfront hotel in Valencia.
It has elegant rooms, swimming pools, and a large circuit spa. So if you’re coming to Valencia and you’re looking for relaxation as your top priority — then this is the accommodation for you.
It’s also one of the only 5 star hotels in Valencia, so you’re guaranteed to get top-quality service and accommodation.
I can personally recommend the spa! There are few things more relaxing than going through a multi-circuit spa with views of the beach.
Marin Beach Patacona
Best For: Everyday travelers & affordable rates
Marin Beach Apartments is another one of the best hotels near the beach. Valencia has surprisingly few lodging options in this area — so this one stands out as surprisingly affordable.
It’s a very large hotel with plenty of amenities, including a tennis court! So if you’re planning for a lengthier stay and want to get some exercise in, this is a great option.
Overall, I would say that this is a perfect option for couples and “everyday travelers”. The rooms are clean, all the amenities are there, and they offer good service at a reasonable rate. So if you care less about top-class luxury and more about getting a good bang for your buck — then this is the spot for you.
Unlike most of the hotels, it’s on the Patacona side. Which means if you’re relying on the public transport, then you’ll only have a bus or taxis to take you to places. However, if you plan on renting a car or staying primarily in the beach area – then this isn’t an issue.
Hotel Neptuno
Best For: Mid-high budgets and rooftop cocktails
Hotel Neptuno is another great Valencia beach hotel. If you’re looking for something that’s a slight step up (without getting to a 5-star budget), then you’ll want to consider staying here.
They have spacious rooms and a prestigious beachfront location. But what truly stands out to me is the rooftop bar. Which means in the evenings when you’re winding down, you can relax on their rooftop and get an unbeatable view of the Mediterranean.
There are a few other perks like parking (which is always hard to find in Valencia). Plus they are quite close to the metro & bus stations, which makes it perfect for people who want to stay at the beach – but still get easy access to the Ciutat Vella.
Hotel Boutique Balandret
Best For: Artsy, chic accommodations
For a more intimate experience, try Hotel Boutique Balandret. This quaint hotel offers a more personal accommodation while still being right on the boardwalk.
It’s a hotel-restaurant that balances a modern amenities while appreciating the history and art of this beach town. I find it’s one of the best boutique hotels in Valencia.
The hotel has a very chic design style, which makes it a great option for people who want to stay at cuter accommodations. Plus it’s also a bit more exclusive, with only 21 rooms. So if you want a more personal experience at a local-owned boutique hotel, make sure to book in advance!
Pamphylia Hotel
Best For: Modern and stylish rooms
Pamphylia Hotel is a great mid-range option.
It’s another one of the best Valencia beach hotels with a more modern design. While some of the other hotels focus on traditional and beach-themed styles, Pamphylia takes a more modern approach.
They also have an attached restaurant, which makes it an easy choice for anyone who wants to start their gastronomic journey in Valencia!
Reina 107
Best For: Staying in a historic area near the beach
Reina 107 is a stylish aparthotel, in a historic building in El Cabanyal. It’s a few minutes away from the beach, situated in the “downtown” area of this neighborhood.
This means it’s perfect for anyone that wants to be close to the beach, while still enjoying the small-town vibe that you find in El Cabanyal. The fishermen neighborhood is one of the most iconic areas of the city thanks to the architecture and modernist styles.
It’s also fairly affordable considering the location.
Since this is one of the most sought-after areas in Valencia, it’s a great spot for young travelers and anyone who wants to stay in a more historic area.
Hostal Balcón al Mar
Best For: Budget lodging near the port and beach
If you’re traveling on a budget, Hostal Balcón al Mar offers simple but clean rooms with balconies overlooking the sea.
Even though it’s technically a hostel, it offers more hotel-like accommodations. The quality is surprisingly nice for a hostel!
I find this is the best beach accommodation in Valencia for budget travelers. If you just want a clean room with a decent location, this is a top spot. Plus, it’s located near the port – so if you’re planning on hopping on a cruise and just need a cheap place to stay the night before, it’s a great option.
